Each is completely out and comfortable with their sexual orientation.  In addition, they remain supportive of equal rights for the LGBTQ community and are activists in many areas.  For example, some have produced ‘It Gets Better’ video messages for LGBTQ youth.  These recent high profile LGBTQ political appointments represent progress for the community in positions of leadership within government.
